The Most Intense Fights Where Saitama Took Things Seriously

Saitama’s power makes every battle feel dull to him.

Saitama is not the most well-known hero, but his unmatched strength allows him to end any fight with just one punch. This overwhelming power makes battles feel dull to him, and as a result, he rarely shows excitement when facing opponents.

Instead, he responds to their grand speeches with his usual emotionless expression. At times, however, Saitama has displayed a rare moment of seriousness, creating an intense move in the atmosphere with his presence.

This does not mean he has ever faced real danger or taken damage, but simply seeing him with a serious look is enough to leave an impact.

10. His First Encounter With Crablante

Saitama was not born with extraordinary abilities; he developed them after years of relentless training. As a regular person, he once met a monster resembling a giant crab called Crablante, who was hunting for a child who had an unusually large cleft chin.

Although Saitama initially planned to ignore the situation, he unexpectedly found himself stepping in to protect the child. In an intense fight, he managed to pull out Crablante’s entire digestive system through one of the monster’s eye sockets.

9. Facing Garou Without Holding Back

Garou reached his peak strength after an intense battle with Golden Sperm, where he revealed his unique fighting technique called “Monster Calamity God Slayer Fist.” Despite defeating multiple S-Class heroes, including Zombieman, he was stunned to realize that Saitama could effortlessly counter every one of his attacks.

As the fight went on, Saitama tried to reason with Garou, pointing out the flaws in his ideology. At the same time, he overpowered him with moves like the Serious Headbutt and the devastating Table Flip.

8. Overpowering Orochi’s Gaia Cannon

Orochi possessed the ability to absorb and unleash energy, making him a difficult opponent even for Tatsumaki. During his battle with Saitama, he extracted power from the planet’s core and fired an enormous energy blast. However, the attack had absolutely no effect.

Instead, Saitama countered with his technique, the Serious Squirt Gun, which allowed him to unleash pressurized lava from his hands with enough force to completely overpower Orochi’s Gaia Cannon.

7. His Unmatched Performance in the Hero Exam

Both Saitama and Genos participated in the 6th Official Superhero Certification Exam, where they were required to complete a series of physical challenges.

Saitama excelled in every test, effortlessly achieving the highest possible score in events like the 1500-meter run, vertical jump, shot put, weightlifting, and punching strength.

However, his lack of interest in academics showed during the written portion of the exam. He only managed to score 71 out of 100, which led to him receiving a C-Class ranking despite his unmatched physical abilities.

6. Fighting the Deep Sea King

During the Deep Sea King’s attack, Saitama had trouble getting to the battlefield quickly, which delayed his arrival. After stepping in to save Mumen Rider, he confronted the monster with a rare serious expression, demonstrating that he was completely unfazed by the enemy’s attacks.

As the Deep Sea King lunged at him, Saitama delivered a single punch that not only tore through the monster’s body but also cleared the storm clouds that had gathered in the sky.

5. Sparring With Genos

Genos convinced Saitama to engage in a training battle so they could measure their strength against each other. They moved to a deserted area to avoid causing unnecessary destruction, and Genos unleashed a series of increasingly powerful attacks. Unfortunately, none of them even came close to harming Saitama.

Frustrated, Genos reminded Saitama that he was supposed to take the fight seriously. Acknowledging his student’s determination, Saitama responded by preparing a devastating attack.

The force of his punch alone blasted through an entire mountain, though he stopped short of actually hitting Genos to prevent serious damage.

4. Humbling Speed-o’-Sound Sonic

Speed-o’-Sound Sonic made it his mission to defeat Saitama, constantly challenging him in hopes of proving himself. However, every encounter ended with Sonic being completely outclassed, as he failed to keep up with Saitama’s limitless strength.

During one particular fight, Saitama decided to use his Serious Side-Hops technique. The sheer force of his movement alone was enough to send Sonic flying, knocking him out instantly. Despite Sonic’s impressive speed, his version of the same technique lacked the overwhelming power that Saitama demonstrated.

3. His Intense Battle Against Boros

Boros was the first opponent who managed to withstand Saitama’s Consecutive Normal Punches, something no other enemy had ever done before. Seeing this, Saitama decided to use his more powerful moves for the first time.

In response to Boros’ final attack, the Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, Saitama unleashed a Serious Punch. The sheer energy behind this move destroyed Boros and tore through his strongest energy blast with ease.

2. Destroying the Elder Centipede

When the monstrous Elder Centipede threatened the city, Genos, Silver Fang, and Bomb joined forces to fight it. Although their combined strength was impressive, it still was not enough to take the creature down permanently.

At that moment, King stepped in and cleverly lured the Elder Centipede into a vulnerable position. Just as the monster approached, Saitama appeared and delivered a devastating Serious Punch, instantly reducing the enormous creature to nothing.

1. The Supermarket Sale Crisis

One of the funniest moments in Saitama’s story comes from a situation that had nothing to do with combat. While fighting Carnage Kabuto, he appeared to be struggling for the first time, leaving Genos genuinely worried.

However, Saitama’s sudden change in expression had nothing to do with his opponent. Instead, he realized that he had forgotten about a sale at the supermarket. The moment this thought crossed his mind, he immediately ended the battle in an instant, destroying Carnage Kabuto without a second thought.
