Saitama’s incredible strength has always been the core of One Punch Man. He is known as the most powerful being ever, and as the name suggests, he defeats every opponent with a single blow. No matter how strong his enemies are, they all fall after just one punch.
Saitama is looking for a real challenge—someone who won’t go down so easily. However, he usually ends up winning the fight instantly. The focus here is on characters who can withstand a few punches from Saitama, rather than those who could survive an entire battle.

The question of whether they could endure a full series of blows is a different matter entirely.
15. Ban Cannot Be Defeated Because He Is Truly Immortal
In Seven Deadly Sins, Ban carries the title of Fox’s Sin of Greed, a fitting name given his ability called Snatch. This power allows him to take away physical objects, but it also works on abilities, meaning he could steal some of Saitama’s strength and stamina during a fight.
Ban became immortal after drinking from the Fountain of Youth. Since fusion of water with his blood, he stopped aging and can heal from any wound. Even if his body were destroyed, he would regenerate fully. This implies that no matter how powerful Saitama’s punches are, they wouldn’t be enough to finish Ban off.
14. Kizaru’s Devil Fruit Powers Make Him Untouchable
The Marines’ top fighters in One Piece are the Admirals, and Kizaru is one of them. He possesses the abilities of the Glint-Glint Fruit, a Logia-type Devil Fruit that gives him control over light and allows him to move at its speed. Because of this, Saitama would struggle to land a hit on him.
Like other Logia users, Kizaru is intangible, making him immune to most physical strikes. If Saitama were to throw a punch, it would pass through him without causing harm. While Armament Haki can counter this ability, Saitama has no access to Haki, leaving him at a disadvantage.
13. Superman Can Only Lose If Kryptonite Is Involved
Superman has been portrayed in different ways over the years, with some versions stronger than others. While not all versions could take a punch from Saitama, many of them would be able to withstand it.
Though Saitama is extremely fast, Superman surpasses him, even traveling faster than light. His strength also exceeds Saitama’s, as he can move entire planets. On top of that, he has heat vision, telepathy, and other extraordinary abilities that give him an edge. If Saitama hopes to defeat him, the only real chance he has is to use Kryptonite.
12. Thanos Absorbs Energy And Cannot Be Defeated Easily
Marvel’s Thanos is often seen as a more cunning and ruthless version of Superman. Apart from having incredible physical strength, speed, and endurance, he can absorb massive amounts of cosmic energy. Because of this, Saitama’s punches wouldn’t affect him in any meaningful way.
Even without that energy-absorbing ability, Thanos is still an immortal being who can manipulate matter and survive indefinitely without food or water. Much of his strength comes from the Infinity Stones, but the fact that he can wield them at the same time is proof of how powerful he already is.
11. Zeno Can Erase Universes Effortlessly
Zeno, from Dragon Ball Super, stands at the top of the power hierarchy in the Dragon Ball universe. His childlike appearance is misleading, as he can create and destroy entire universes within moments.
Since he has no combat training, Zeno would not physically fight Saitama. However, he wouldn’t need to. Even if Saitama managed to land a hit, Zeno could simply erase the current timeline and reset the battle as if nothing had happened.
10. Sebastian Michaelis Can Only Be Killed By One Weapon
Thanks to his demonic nature, Sebastian Michaelis possesses supernatural abilities. While the Black Butler anime showcases his immense strength, the manga delves deeper into the extent of his powers. His true form is beyond human understanding, meaning he can take on any appearance he chooses.
Sebastian cannot be killed by just any means. Only one weapon—the Undertaker’s scythe—has the power to end his existence. Given that he has repeatedly defeated other powerful supernatural beings in battle, it is clear that he could endure Saitama’s punches without issue.
9. Giorno Giovanna Can Control Life And Death
Giorno, a character from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5, wields one of the most terrifying abilities in the series. His Stand, Gold Experience, grants him the power to create and manipulate life itself. But his strongest ability comes from Gold Experience Requiem, which traps opponents in an endless cycle of death.
If Saitama managed to land a punch, Giorno could use his Stand to manipulate his opponent’s will, forcing Saitama to act against his interests. Since physical strength alone is useless against mind control, Saitama would be helpless in this situation.
8. The Hulk Gets Stronger The More He Is Hit
Hulk’s strength and endurance in Marvel Comics are limitless, making him capable of withstanding devastating attacks. He has already survived nuclear blasts and temperatures comparable to the surface of the sun, showing that even Saitama’s most powerful punches wouldn’t be enough to take him down.
There’s also the fact that hitting the Hulk would only make him angrier, which in turn makes him stronger. His ability to heal at an accelerated rate further ensures that any damage he sustains will be repaired in no time.
7. The Anti-Monitor Destroys Matter And Cannot Be Harmed
Among DC’s many villains, few are as powerful as the Anti-Monitor. He has existed since the beginning of time, and his sole purpose is to erase everything in existence. Since he controls the Antimatter Universe, he can produce energy blasts capable of wiping out entire realities.

Having already destroyed multiple universes and altered reality itself, the Anti-Monitor is nearly indestructible. Even when DC’s strongest heroes attacked him all at once, he took little to no damage. If Saitama were to strike him, it is unlikely that the attack would even leave a scratch.
6. Beerus Can Obliterate Anything With Ease
Beerus, Universe 7’s God of Destruction in Dragon Ball Super, is responsible for maintaining balance in the cosmos. His strength is second only to the Angels and the Omni-King. With his Hakai ability, he can erase anything from existence, including souls.
Saitama would struggle to land a hit on Beerus, given that he was able to dodge Goku’s attacks effortlessly, even in his Super Saiyan form. Even when Goku achieved Super Saiyan God status, he still could not defeat Beerus in battle.
5. No Face Can Devour Gods
Not all beings who can endure Saitama’s punches need to be gods or celestial entities. Some are far more unassuming, such as No Face from Spirited Away.
What makes No Face dangerous is his ability to consume other gods entirely. No amount of raw power would be effective against him, as his body behaves like a fluid mass. Punching him would be no different from striking jelly, rendering physical attacks useless.
